Northwest Christian Church is affiliated with the Disciples of Christ (DoC).  Our Mission is to be a nurturing fellowship, committed to making Jesus Christ known, sharing our faith in God, and offering service, spiritual growth, and a peaceful haven in our complex world.  All are welcome. 

Worship is Sunday at 10:30 am, led by Rev. Monica Myers Greenberg. 

Nursery provided for children age 2 and under.

Every Sunday we provide a staffed Nursery for children under age 3. The Nursery is located in the northwest corner of the building. Please ask a greeter for directions. Activity bags are also provided in the narthex (lobby) for the children to play with during the service—the sounds of children are welcome in our worship!

Every Sunday children, age 3 years through second grade, are invited to take part in Children Worship and Wonder during worship time. This ministry provides an opportunity for children to learn the stories of the Christian faith in fun and imaginative ways.  Following Children’s Time, children are escorted by the greeter to their worship center, located in the north wing of the building.  Children will be brought down to the fellowship hall at the end of worship to reunite with their parents.

Youth grades 3 and up gather in the “Upper Room Class” for lessons and activities.  They leave the service with the assigned “Youth Mentor” after Children’s Time and return for communion. Discipleship Groups meet every month for prayer and faith formation. Please contact Pastor Monica for details.

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has always welcomed all who love the Lord to receive communion. You do not need to be a baptized member of this church to receive the Lord’s Supper.
